Local developer Ascend Real Estate Group sought to create a signature luxury condo development in Chicago’s booming River North neighborhood. With the aim of creating a standout interior concept with a clean and modern sensibility, AREG hired Gary Lee Partners. With only four units per floor, each residence is a corner unit with a large, open floor plan. In addition to providing insight and recommendations on unit planning, GLP designed the standard unit finishes as well as the building’s rooftop amenity deck, lobby, and elevator lobbies. Prospective buyers can choose from three curated palettes, each with its own specific materials and design layers. The residences feature European cabinetry in wood veneer and lacquer finishes by Florense, natural stone countertops, 5” wood flooring throughout, radiant heated floors, and private terraces with built-in BBQs. GLP also designed and built out the condo development’s sales center, which includes a mock-up of a unit kitchen, balcony, and bathroom.
